We had a great afternoon and evening. We finally heard Luke talk a little, and got him laughing quite a bit. Had dinner at the hotel next door, and Drake and Lila took turns helping him eat. After dinner we went swimming. Luke really liked the water and the 3 had a great time playing and splashing together!
On the way to the pool we forgot something so I ran to the room while they waited at the elevator. Jason was holding the door and drake and Lila got in elevator, but Luke wouldn't get in until I was back. He was afraid they were going to leave me.
On the way to the pool he was running ahead with Drake and Lila. Suddenly he stopped and just laid down on the floor. I walked over and he just wanted me to carry him!
Angie, I am so thankful that you all are already having an amazing time together as a family of 5!! Luke is so lucky to have you all! I can't wait to put my arms around him and just hug and kiss him!! He just looks precious and so lovable! On another note - it sounds like Luke's separation anxiety is starting to set in now. YOU are his mother and he is going to cling to you for a while - as you already know :). He has already bonded with you Angie :)!! That is so amazing! His little heart has bonded with yours!! He already looks at you and thinks "this is my mom, my caretaker - who I am supposed to be with" and he won't let you out of his sight. I am so glad that he transitioned into your family and into your arms so quickly and perfectly! God is so GREAT! I love you and look forward to reading more of your posts :)!! Have fun and tell Drake and Lila we love them too and that Hogan, Bailey Grace, Boston, and Aniston said "Hey!" ~Dana
